What you buy

The calculation, JSON download and browser print summary are free. The optional US$47 purchase covers a PDF calculation record and email delivery for one saved calculation. It is a one-time payment, not a recurring subscription or multi-system licence. Editing inputs creates a new calculation. The document is calculation support, not a compliance certification, government document, verified inspection or legal advice.

Review your inputs before paying. Available payment methods are displayed by Stripe at checkout. No card data is stored by LeakGuard. A payment does not perform repairs, inspections, verification tests or regulatory filings.

Delivery, support and refunds

After payment verification, download the PDF on the results page. Email delivery runs in a retry queue and can take longer. Save your receipt, private record link, PDF and original JSON. Contact the address above for missing files, incorrect charges, duplicate purchases, or a refund request. Include your receipt reference; do not email card details. We will investigate delivery or billing problems and arrange a correction or refund as appropriate. This does not limit applicable consumer rights.

Privacy and storage

We store the service inputs you submit, generated calculation records, checkout references and delivery status to recover and fulfill your order. Treat your record URL and record ID as private access links: anyone with that information can access the record. The browser also stores recovery data for the current tab. Download your records for your own retention obligations; this service is not your only archive.

Stripe processes payment details and shares the checkout email and payment status with us. Elastic Email receives the recipient address and calculation attachment when delivering the purchased record. We do not sell your calculation data. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion; billing records may need to be retained separately. Corrections create a new record rather than changing an issued record.

Optional Meta analytics is disabled until you allow it. If enabled by the deployment, Meta Pixel and Conversions API receive usage/conversion events and standard browser identifiers; purchase matching can include a hashed checkout email. Facility names, asset IDs, record IDs and calculation results are excluded. Email open/click tracking is disabled. Use “Disable analytics” in the calculator to withdraw consent for future events in that tab.

Limitation of liability and legal disclaimers

Administrative calculation utility only: LeakGuard 84 is an electronic calculation and recordkeeping aid designed to evaluate refrigerant addition records under EPA AIM Act (40 CFR Part 84 Subpart C), Clean Air Act Section 608 (40 CFR Part 82 Subpart F), and California CARB RMP (17 CCR § 95380 et seq.). LeakGuard 84 is not a law firm or licensed professional engineering practice, and does not provide legal counsel, compliance certifications, auditor attestations, or official government filings.

Non-delegable statutory responsibility (42 U.S.C. § 7413): Under federal and state environmental laws, the statutory responsibility to operate equipment lawfully, calculate accurate leak rates, execute verified physical repairs within required deadlines, and maintain auditable records rests strictly with the regulated equipment owner and operator. Using this utility does not delegate, transfer, or reduce that legal obligation.

Accuracy of user inputs & no immunity warranty: Calculation outputs and statutory determinations depend entirely upon the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of user-entered data (including charge sizes, addition dates, pounds added, and full historical addition logs). Neither LeakGuard 84 nor its operators warrant that use of this tool will prevent administrative inquiries, inspections, notices of violation, or statutory penalties from the EPA, CARB, or any environmental regulator.

Damage limitation & liability cap: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the software and calculation records are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Under no circumstances shall LeakGuard 84, its operators, or affiliates be liable for statutory civil penalties, EPA enforcement fines, loss of profits, equipment downtime, business interruption, or indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. The total aggregate liability of LeakGuard 84 and its operators for all claims arising from or related to the software, website, or purchased calculation records shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you (US$47.00).
